Yesterday in the pre-dawn hours one of our buddies seen a bicycle in the ditch next to the road. Our buddy drove into the driveway of their employment, checked out the bike and seen someone lying next to it in the ditch. Quickly they went inside and asked a couple of co-workers to lend a hand. The trio went with flashlight and telephone in hand. Calling 911 and they checked to see if he was breathing. The first responders arrived and checked him further they helped him up to his feet! They also gave the poor soul a ride, taking his bicycle with him! This is a true story but it is the very core principles WLB and our team, Lifting Up One Another, is based upon. Whether we are the person driving by or the one who needs help, may we always be willing to lift up one another!
