Getting Started

Well I know i can't do this myself. My already skinny friends just want me to fail. So I am coming to this site for objective help. Dieting and working out will not become the center of my life. Rather I want to make small, gradual changes in my lifestyle. I have started by increasing water and fruit juice intake. Omitting candy and sodas. Making sure i get 5 fruits and veggies a day. So far I have also worked out for at least 20 minutes everyday.

I think losing 40 pounds would be a terrific start. So this is my goal for now. Hunny is home now. So I hope to look around for buddies and advice tomorrow, when he isn't looking over my shoulder.

you may want to rethnk think the fruit juice. It is usually loaded with calories because of all the sugar that is added to it and is offers little nutritional value. I am a fan of propel, as it tastes good, has little calories, and has extra added vitamins. :-)

I should have been more specific I guess since I have gotten about 20 comments damning fruit juices this is either, fresh juice from whole fruits I squeeze or "juice" myself or sometimes, Ocean spray cranenergy juice which has 35 calories in 12 ounces and less than 4% daily sugar. I can't live on just water, and that would fall into the drastic category that I don't want to belong to. I want to make changes that I can stick with in the long run.
