Uncommon reasons to lose weight

I was sitting here (bored, hehe) and something sparked my mind. Everyone has their own reasons for losing weight. It ranges from happiness/self-confidence to wanting to be able to wear a size 2 or a bikini with pride. However, everyone has random and uncommon reasons they want to lose to. Maybe they are not part of common knowledge people people are too embarrassed/shy to discuss them openly.

Mine are:

1. I will be able to have my husband carry me like in the movies without worrying if his back is breaking.

2. I will be able to shut my mom up.  She has always been one to put others down and if I am in a size 2 what can she say?

3. To no longer be afraid of the camera.

4. To be able to pick out one outfit in the morning and be able to wear it with pride then have to change a bunch of times because nothing fits.

What are you uncommon reasons you want to lose weight?

“Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the “someday I’ll” philosophy.”

**The first weigh-in for the month is today**

Chicken Spinach Parm

Chicken Spinach Parm 4pts

Canola Spray
4 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 tbsp italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 tsp grated parmesan
1/4 cup marinara
1 small clove garlic, crushed
3 handfuls baby spinach leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
As the oil is heating, pound the chicken to 1/4 inch thickness,
then sprinkle with bread crumbs, cheese, salt, and pepper,
pressing so the crumbs stick. Place in the pan with the garlic

Add the spinach, turning frequently with tongs until it wilts
(about 6 minutes).

**Make sure that you check this website if you are counting calories.  I made adjustments for weight watchers.  This is the website: http://recipes.womenshealthmag.com/Recipe/chicken-spinach-parm.aspx.  <--This came from the site that I was talking about with the exercises.

Ready to try something else?

I read something that another member posted about cardio vs. strength training when it comes to weight loss and on the page I found a like to this site: http://www.womenshealthmag.com/best-body-ever/workout.php?1

I have decided to use the workouts on one of the plans, lose 12 pounds in 6 weeks.  I am not going to use the meal plan because I am on weight watchers, but for all of you who are counting calories this site might be perfect for you.  (For those of you who are on weight watchers you can use the recipes if you like because they provide all the nutritional information to calculate the points.)

I just completed week 1-2, day 1's exercises and my legs feel like jello.  I haven't done anything yet on my own that has made my legs feel like that.  I think the last time that my legs felt like this, before tonight, was when I was in high school.  I used to play varsity volleyball.  I have a good feeling.

You should check it out.
