Maybe broccoli is the magic food! I just ate my fill to the point of stuffed, and spent 309 calories, all because of this wonderfully, healthy, green veggie.
Which makes me wonder.
I have heard so often from dieticians, and "professionals" , that to eat too few calories would stop your metabolism. I struggle with buying into that. I have a gut feeling that if I ate the necessary, lean protein and added only broccoli (similiar veggies)to fill me up the rest of the day-maybe dairy (making it around 700ish cals a day) it would benefit my weight loss--not hinder it.
As far as my overall health, it is already neccesary to supplement with vitamins, calcium and lots of water. Also, if the weight comes off a little quicker, it does help to keep your body going a little longer. You then will always have a lifetime to keep working on making those "changes for a lifetime". These thoughts were actually inspired by the low calories lostinspace consumes and are just my opinion. I do believe I am going to try it to. So if you are interested in the results, stay in tune!
Then again maybe I'm just overly excited because I am only six days into this. I know my time is coming soon to hit a plateau or just "get tired" of doing it. All the more importance of having WLB.
They started cortisone shots in my left knee today, they just discovered it will catch up with the right one soon. So I have to make up for sitting on my ass the next week some how!
So, I'm proud of my low calories today!
2 hamburger buns=220 3 small tenders=120 6 sweet pickles =30 1 lg broccoli= 98 4 0z chicken breast=211
total 679 calories today
I figured in some cookies i never ate into last night, it was 150 lower because of it.
