OK,
So, I got up this morning, dropped everyone off as usual. Went to the gym. Tortured myself on several devices for a liltle over an hour. By the time I'd left the gym I'd drank over 60 oz of water, and figured I better get weighed before taking on anymore. On the way to taking my husband lunch, I stopped at the Dr.s and weighed.....249 a-freaking-gain...
When I told my husband he said, " At least it wasn't 250 or more...
Hey..the point is,
I kept my head high last week when the scale didn't budge--but this is week two of it not budging. For over three weeks I haven't eaten but 1130 or so cal's a day (I don't believe this is starvation mode as it is what the site recommend for losing 3lbs a week), and I have put in (averaging), at least my hour a day in exercise-probably more plus, I drink over 100 oz of water daily..I have also tried to eat more often during the day (I know there is contradictory evidence with this method, and I am willing to try anything). Heck, I did better when I was eating 800 cals a day!
I understand I have been lifting weights and that maybe/perhaps put on a bit of muscle which may've stalled the scale (is a month of weight lifting really enough to make that big of a difference?)I don't know, I do know I need to get my measurments writtin somewhere and start watching those weekly with the scale--what a pain in the a** !
I'm having a hard time holding my head high this week, I am NOT quitting. However, I am eating cake tonight at the blue and gold dinner. Screw it. Who knows maybe a bump with some sugar and calories will reset the metabolism to work again. I also noticed when I was losing weight before that i was giving myself a reward meal of about 2000 cals once a week. I haven't done that in a few weeks. I've struggled with getting my rewards up to 1500 or so..
I've seen a few ideas of yours out there that I've considered trying..some "jump start" diet I saw on one of my teams, maybe a liquid for six weeks (suggested by a nutrionist), maybe a carb/keto. approach--this worked well for me in the past. I just have to get my cholesterol pulled before I start that one--I'm already sick of chicken and turkey...
Whatever!!!

I sure hope you all are doing better than I am today.
I'll be back later to report the damages done for the day!
