Hi everyone,
Thanks to everyone who responded to my last blog. It is so great to have your support. This site and each one of you are the only reasons I have been able to keep going the way I have. I am sure that without it I would've been "off the wagon" weeks ago.
I didn't do the damage that I wanted to do to myself yesterday (HAHA caloriewise that is). Right after i weighed and took my husband lunch my kids wanted a cone from Macdonalds. So we went and got cones 120 cals. My son wanted a cheeseburger, (yes I had one) 280 cals. That was besides the 180 cal sandwich I had at home, and the 160 cals for yogurt in the am and after the gym.. We went to Blue and Gold Scout dinner last night and I had a meatball sandwich with fruit salad: roughly 600 calories, then 2 small pieces of cake: roughly 300 cals. ..
.All in all, even after trying to sabatoge myself I only ate 1535 cals or so. I did come home with the worst stomach cramps evvveerr. I'm not used to spicy beef and sauces anymore, and really not used to a lot of sugar. I felt so sick that I left the garbage can by the bed all night!
I had an appointment with a nutritionist today. She was a little shocked that I have been stuck for a couple of weeksj considering activity vs. intake. When she learned that I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, she pulled a book she was reading about it and the effects of it on weight loss (Im going to borrow it from her when she is done). Looks like this stuff really messes up chances of regular weight loss.
I am going to be doing a plan that she wants me to try for a month. I think it is so she can be sure that I am consuming the amount of calories that I am claiming to be consuming. Not that she thinks that I am lying, I am sure that she questions my measurment methods and so forth, and the accuracy of such. So, starting either tomorrow or Monday I am going to either have either a protein shake or an ensure (depending on the health comparison) for breakfast and lunch and a lean cuisine (between 3-400 cals) for dinner. I am allowed to have a s/f pudding or the like for a snack. It is supposed to be not over 1000 calories a day. I also got a few tips for working out on the weights at the gym, nothing really too different than what I was already doing-I will just be adding 2-3 minutes of the elliptical in between 15 minutes of weights/alternating for the hour. Like a circuit, in hopes of burning better. I think my knees can take three minutes on the elliptical or recumbent bike. I guess I will be finding out next week. I will also be measuring myself from now on on Friday's when I weigh. I should have bren doing that all along.
Have a great day everyone
I still believe we can do this if we all stick together
