Day two

Well I am taking two positive steps today.  The first one is to blog and post my daily goal. Personal life has challenges just as everyone's and at the moment I am feeling sorry for myself.  I am allowed to do that until the end of this blog post, then I must reframe each negative comment positively. 

My daily goal is no snacking after dinner.  Step 1 complete.   My second step was to start connections on this site.  I had sent some emails and gotten responses.  I will need to email back after work.  I did join a team which is a big part of what I was searching for on this site.  Now to start making good use of that feedback and support.

looking to start

Afternoon folks,  I am one of the new members.  My name is Maryanne.  I am looking for support to get back into successful weight loss.  I had been able to meet and hold goal once using the WW strategies.  I know the strategies work but my schedule and a new change in diet to gluten free have made it hard for me to get back on track.  I heard about this site and decided to give it a try.  I want to set up a system of folks that can help me and that I can help them.  The accounability in WW and that positive attention was a huge part of what made the program work for me.  I need to find that again in a way I can maintain regular contact I am hoping this site might allow me to do that.

I will be sending out buddy requests once I feel like I know who might be interested.  I started with some PM to folks and will see if that strategy works.

I am a fifty something woman married with a grown kid (employed in a job she likes, thats good).  I spend much of my free time dividing time between my husband's hobbie (sailing) and mine (dog sport).  My elderly father lives with us, which can make me crazy at times.  Oh and I am trying to get my house sold so we can buy the almost dream house... Enough stress there LOL.
