Well, almost the end of 2009. Its been a rather dreary year so I guess its fitting that the last day of it here is so gray and rainy--not even proper rain, either, but that nasty drizzly stuff that gets in everywhere so it doesn't matter what you wear or if you have an umbrella.

I'm sure I'll perk up in a bit but right now I'm feeling kind of lonely. 

Both daughters are gone for the night, my BFF is working tonight and in the morning so he can't drive down to visit--just a little depressed, I guess.

Patrick will be home soon and maybe we'll go get something to eat. I'm sure he has plans for later, though. That's okay--he deserves to do something fun. He works very hard and--lets face it--he's only 22 (on the 3rd)!

It doesn't help that the computer seems to be acting up--very frustrating!

So, this year is almost at an end. I sure hope next year is a better one!

My BFF finally got a new phone and called a couple of days ago.

Unfortunately, he has to work a really crazy schedule for the next 3 weeks because another employee has gone out of town.

Oh well, at least we can talk on the phone once in  a while--AND it will give me a chance to lose a little more weight before he comes to visit.
