I'm going to do this. There's no reason for me not to. Ya know, a few months ago, I was going to the gym regularly, for at least 2 hours a day, feeling GREAT, eating well, and I managed to lose a total of 21 pounds. It was fantastic! Then I had a moment of weakness, a very long moment that lasted a few months. :( but I'm done. NO MORE! I can be a healthy and strong woman. And I will!

I will not fail.

P.S. Did you know that SunMaid Raisins have little motivational quotes on them? Yah, when you open the top, it's on the lid, kinda. Anyways, yesterday the box said,

Thats exactly what I needed to hear....even though it did come from a bunch of raisins. haha. I fell down and I'm getting back up! HERE WE GO!

I kinda got upset about this weight loss stuff,....and gave up. Way to go Carla. So I'm hear to report that I have not lost any more weight in the some odd months that it has been since I have been on here.

If I sit here feeling sorry for myself I'm just going to gain more weight so let's call this the end of it.

Time to get cracking. I'm engaged now! My wedding is July 9th next year and I have less than a year to get myself into the shape that I want to be in.

Now, sadly they have closed my gym until the 18th for "yearly maintenance". So I'll have to utilize my things at home. Which is a downer. But that's ok. I'd like to go running but it's so hot someone's liable to have a heat stroke. haha.

Ok guys, so the last time i posted measurements, these were them:

February 9th:
Weight: 259lbs
Measurements:
        bust: 45 inches
        waist: 40 inches
        belly(cause this was a big prob area haha): 48 inches
        hips: 53 inches
        thighs: 31 inches

March 11th:
Weight: 247lbs
Measurements:
         bust: 43 inches
         waist: 39 inches
         belly: 47 inches
         hips: 52 inches
         thighs: 30 inches


Now those are good and great, but I took my measurements again today. Now, miraculously I've only lost 4 pounds since then,...but these are my current measurements!

March 31st:
Weight: 243lbs
Measurements:
          bust: 41 inches
          waist: 37 inches
          belly: 45 inches
          hips: 50 inches
          thighs: 29 inches


I AM SO STOKED RIGHT NOW!!! I cant believe how many inches I have lost!!! Since february 9th, I have lost a total of 15 inches off my body and 16 pounds! I don't know how I lost so many inches, but I'm so happy!!!!!

trying

so i'm really trying to lose weight, last night I didnt' do so great at the gym, but it was the first day in a LONG time that that has happened, so I just have to make sure to not let it happen again. I haven't lost not ONE pound this week!!!! No gain either though. I pretty much know why that's the case, but it's not something everyone on here would like to hear about,....kinda personal. HAHA. ANYWAYS, I'm trying to fix that problem, but it may be next week before I see more results. BUT, the good news is, i DID lose 7 pounds last week, which put me above and beyond my goal for this past tuesday, although i DID intend or hope to lose another 3 pounds by this coming tuesday. Not sure that's going to happen for me. BUT I WILL KEEP TRYING. I'm not giving up. NO WAY! I want this so bad, I'm SO ready to be the person I should be inside and out.

Alright, guys, I have a question.

Has anyone tried the 7-day cleanse thing???

I've had a few friends tell me that it gives a boost to weight loss, but I'm not sure I want to do it. Right now, you all are my most consistently reliable source, so I figured I'd ask you guys. Anything you can tell me about it, would be great! Or if you all have tried other things that gave you a big boost, what were they??

I'm asking mainly because I have been busting butt the past few days to lose weight, I lost quite a bit last week, but not even ONE pound so far the past 3 days. I've been hitting the gym hard, even cut back on calories EVEN MORE that I already was(this wasn't purposely, i didn't realize how few calories I had until I logged it in. I normally take in 1200, but I have been taking in 900-1100.), no fast food at all, no soda, drinking a decent amount of water. I don't know what my problem is. I really need help!

Alright, I had to post this because I am SO excited!!! So, I started this weight loss thing for the billionth time on February 9th. (I didn't join this site though until March 2nd) On Feb 9th, I wrote down how much I weighed and my measurements:

February 9th:
Weight: 259lbs
Measurements:
        bust: 45 inches
        waist: 40 inches
        belly(cause this was a big prob area haha): 48 inches
        hips: 53 inches
        thighs: 31 inches

Those measurements are high, I know, but I'm working on it! haha. Well today here are my measurements:

I know I've only lost an inch or two off each spot, but if u have struggled with weight for as long as I have, you know how great this feels when you see the numbers change like that! Since joining this site, I've lost 6pounds!!!!! I feel amazing!!!
It's so good to look at myself in the mirror and know that I really can do this!! I AM DOING THIS!!! If it wasn't for all the friends I've met on here, I don't know if I could be doing so well. Thank you all so much! I'm so glad I found you. At this rate, I might actually be able to wear a bathing suit on the cruise! haha.

Good day

Well I was a little discouraged this morning, but the day turned out great!! Ate a little over my calories, but I did alright. And got some great tips from my buddies today, and some encouragement. thanks so much guys! I don't know what I would do without you!!!  Didn't make it to the gym today, but did some great new exercises today and broke a serious sweat! Felt great!!

Also, in case any of you were curious, the visitation for the little girl that passed away in my family is tomorrow. We found out that she had a mass on her brain that caused her death. :( It's a terrible terrible thing that happened. It just breaks my heart that her mom found her not breathing in her crib. I can't imagine walking into my daughters room and seeing her like that.

There is SO much going on in my life right now. I wish I could say they are all good things, but mostly bad things. 2 relatives in the hospital, my sister broke her ankle, BOTH of our cars wont start this morning, no clue why, and to top it off, my cousin called yesterday, her 26day old little girl, Emma, passed away Monday morning. She was perfectly healthy, full-term, natural birth, we have no idea what caused it. We are still waiting on autopsy results. My cousin said at 4am, Emma woke up and she gave her a bottle and played with her for a little while. Then she went back to check on her at 7am, and she wasn't breathing. My heart goes out to her, I just can't imagine that.

It's been hard to maintain my calories/exercise the past few days, but I've managed to do it. Hope everyone is doing well! Keep up the hard work guys!!!

Monday

Well today was a pretty good day. Drank all the water I needed, stayed within my calories (for the most part, give or take a few), and did a good amount of exercise! I hope everyone is doing well!
