Diet Natural

Sunday is for three things in my house: laundry, "homework" (as in, the work I've been putting off during the week) and America's Next Top Model re-runs.

But today is Monday-as I'm sure you all know.

With yesterday's Sunday being devoted to Easter festivities, I unfortunately had to miss out on part three of my little Sunday equation. So, I'm catching up on ANTM this afternoon.

The episode that's on right now, interestingly, is focused on plus-sized models and how it's better to be yourself and be healthy than to force yourself into a body that is common among that profession. Tyra Banks even brought in Nutritionist Joy Bauer to explain to the girls why they should eat...let alone eat healthy.

As I'm watching this, I'm wondering if the same thing the plus-sized model is telling the girls, about how it is important to be yourself than to force yourself into eating a certain way, reigns true for non-models. While dieting and eating disorders are completely different, is it natural, do you think, to force yourself to eat a certain way? Then again, if I ate EVERYTHING my body naturally wanted to eat, I would be a lot larger than I am right now. But is that the natural thing to do?

What do you think?
