Alright, so nobody wanted to talk about the Biggest Loser finale. Let's talk about something else, shall we?
Here is a story I wrote for work (I'm a reporter at a weekly newspaper) about one county's back-and-forth about a ban they decided to impose on trans fats from all restaurants and bakeries beginning July 1.

The argument on the side of the county is that they can ban trans fat and it will help people be healthier, as trans fat has high levels of "bad cholesterol" and is said to be a contributing factor to "obese America." This ban came in two stages, the first was installed in January-and nobody complained.
The first part of the ban involved simply the ban of trans fats from restaurants. Now that the bakery element is scheduled to take effect July 1, the bakers are starting to get a little angry. They say they can't make their products as well without trans fat, and that customers will turn to brands they find in the supermarket that do allow trans fat.
So, here is my question for you: If some entity was banning something that they say is bad for you, would you accept it and not eat products with it, or go out seeking foods with that product?
Would you take the politicians' word for it or rather make your own decisions when it comes to what you put in your body?
