Happy (Healthy) Holidays!

I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and healthy Memorial Day. In a time when bbqs are a plenty and cupcakes a cookies with little American flags scream your name, it might be hard to resist temptation.

But it is a holiday, so don't resist too hard.

Treat yourself this holiday with a moderate treat-one cupcake, not two. One cookie, not three. And don't look back or regret eating it. Everyone needs to enjoy a holiday sometimes!

I agree that moderation is definitely the key. However, I did enjoy the holiday without indulging in fattening foods that would make me feel bad about myself later on.

Those that can indulge in a cupcake and still feel ok, then moderation is the key! For those of us that can't eat that cupcake without gaining 3 pounds and end up feeling horrible........step away from the treats! lol

Do what is right for you. Make the decision that is right for you. After all, you're the one that will have to live with whatever decision you are going to make. Just make sure that whichever one you pick, you have no regrets. :)

I enjoyed my holiday very much and indulged only in an ear of sweet corn and some super sweet melon! It was delicious! No regret for me!

Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weightlossbuddy! How did you do at your bbq or gathering? Were you able to stop at just 1?

Sandy
