Drinking Fewer Calories with your Beer

Drinking a cold beer on a hot summer day may be a regularity of your past. But now that you are on a strict weight loss plan, drinking even one single beer may seem like way too many calories for one bottled beverage.

I know that when it comes to the cold drinks in the heat, I personally prefer a frozen margarita-one of which can contain over 800 calories (depending on the size of the glass). So what do we do? How do we keep our figure in shape by kicking back a cold one?

Well, there are a few low-calories beers that you could drink, fortunately, without having to give up taste entirely.

One I've seen advertised lately is the Miller Chill with Lime that is only 100 calories per beer. Now, I haven't tried it yet, but if it's anything like the Bud Light with Lime, I'm sure it's absolutely delicious-a slight hint of lime that lingers on your tongue after every sip.

I found a few more, in order of taste (in my opinion) in an article on ezinearticles.com, including:

Miller Lite-96 calories
Bud Light-108 calories
Coors Light-102 calories
Natural Light-97 calories
Schlitz Light-96 calories

And Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra Light, with only 70 calories. There are a few more low calorie beers, including Rolling Rock Green Light and I think even a 60 calorie beer made by one of the leading beer companies.

So have no fear, sip a beer and enjoy yourself at those summer barbeques-just don't eat too many hamburgers ;)

Cheers!
