More to Love

Something fat is sweeping the television airwaves these days, and I'm glad.

It used to be that people only wanted to see skinny, beautiful people on tv. Now, bigger, beautiful people are becoming the new craze. The first one that caught my eye was Dance Your Ass Off-after watching the first episode, I've been obsessed, and you may find me tweeting about it often.

This next one looks even better (if you're into cheesy reality tv like me)

So, this Fall, Fox will bring us a real treat. It's called More to Love, and for complete details on the show, go here:

http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/03/fox-more-to-love.html

It is brought to us from the producers of The Bachelor, with one BIG twist. Instead of the bachelor being a superficial jerk, as bachelors past have proved to be, the bachelor is just your average guy, looking for an average girl, and most importantly, looking for her insides to be more beautiful than her outsides.

The show chose bigger girls purposely to prove to the country how much we rely on what we see on the outside of a person, and how what's inside is what really counts.

Undoubtedly, I'm sure some will be offended by this show. Without having ever seen it, I already can say the title disturbs me a little in that it makes the show seem like a joke-hey, we chose a bunch of overweight girls to compete for this guy's love.

Personally, I think it might be a more fair representation if they chose a range of girls, from pretty to not so pretty and overweight to average weight. What do you think?

I watched a couple of episodes already! I have to give those contestants credit. It's hard to believe they are overweight with the way they move.

I think it encourages us to know that you don't have to get into the gym to lose weight. That by making healthy food choices and being more active we can all lose weight. Try to find activities that are fun for you!

I personally thought landing on the moon would help me shed a few pounds! (hehehe)

Looking to expand the line, Bowerman began nike dunk experimenting with the concept of athletic shoes with rubber spikes. By pouring a liquid rubber compound into his wife's waffle iron, Bowerman created an innovative running-shoe sole. The company unveiled nike air max featuring the Waffle sole for athletes competing at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., in 1972. A succession of shoes, many based on the waffle outsole, followed. Some of the most famous are the Waffle Racer, Air Force One and official nike shoes. Frustrated with credit limits at local banks and a general lack of faith in his vision, Knight finds a new method of creative financing. Through the Bank of Tokyo, a trading company called Nissho Iwai introduces BRS to import letters of credit and lays a foundation for future rapid growth. With the help of dunk sb manufactures its own shoe line and the Swoosh Design trademark is created. The night before jordan shoes boxes are to be printed, Johnson dreams the company new brand name, NIKE, the Greek Goddess of victory. A soccer/football shoe is the first NIKE model to hit the retail market. A nike shox to promote the shoe becomes the first apparel item.
