Tweet What You Eat!

This morning I woke up and had a brilliant idea!

Come on people, it doesn't happen everyday so let me wallow in the days that it does.

Maybe I am taking it a little too far to call my idea "brilliant."

Anyway, here it is: Tweet what you eat!

10 years ago, people kept written diaries. Some people do still keep written diaries. I know I have one, but since the rise of writing what you think on the Internet, it's become increasingly hard to maintain a digital and written diary.

I know a lot of people also keep food diaries when they're trying to lose weight. I have not tried this method yet, becahse I'm not exactly sure that I would want to be able to read the things I eat on a daily basis.

I guess that's the point.

But for those of you who do keep a diary, try this.

Sign up for Twitter at www.twitter.com. Every time you eat something, tweet, or write, about it! Twitter only allows you to post short updates, so you can simply write, "I ate an apple for a snack." While the rest of the world might not be fascinated with this, it will help you, and that's all that matters.

Another benefit to this is that you can access Twitter from any computer and also your cell phone.

Loving Life

This post is for Joe.

Joe commented on my last post, "Oh, Applebee's" and while I could have just responded to his comment, I decided I would rather address his thoughts in a new blog post. Here is his comment:

"This is pathetic. Taking a survey on FB to see if others think you are fat? Getting depressed for buying a bikini? Blaming Applebee's for 200 calories? Enjoy your life already!! "

First, I would like to say I enjoy my life much more than I write. By nature, I am an extreme pessimist, and in even the best of situations somehow manage to find some bad. But this does not mean I don't love/enjoy life. It's just who I am.

I like to think of these posts as conversation starters. More often than not, when I write posts like the one about bikini shopping, I am writing it because I think you buddies can relate, and perhaps, offer me some support . Come on Joe, that's what this is all about!

But I am glad Joe brought up taking a survey on Facebook to see if others think you are fat. What Joe speaks of is the new Weight Loss Buddy Facebook application called Am I Fat? where people can go and answer whether you think they are fat. This application is made to be fun and, in my opinion, that is what it is.

So don't worry Joe. I can write about more upbeat things if you'd like. As long as you promise to keep reading!
