Choices, choices, choices.
First, WOW on the cupcake challenge. I’ve talked to some people that have said that cupcake challenge has been done, or at least a challenge with cupcakes, before in some capacity on the show. But man, oh man, I don’t have any idea what I would do if 10 cupcakes were put in my face and I had to not eat them.
Let’s back up a little though. Tracey, Tracey. Tracey is beginning to really show her weakness as a person this week, and in my opinion, she’s more out to win a game than to win a healthy body.
I missed the first 10 minutes of the show, so the whole part about choosing 2 lbs. over working out with the trainers kind of slipped right by me. But once they started the cupcake challenge I knew that if someone was going to cave, it was going to be Tracey. (P.S. I like the way she tried to pretend she ate less, “Oh, I ate four, I thought I only ate three?”)
I was pretty impressed that no one else ate those cupcakes, not knowing whether each of the other contestants were scarfing them down for a chance at controlling the scale. I think it was a very crafty challenge though.
As for the third challenge, that ramp looked pretty steep and those buckets pretty heavy. I think even walking the distance and ramp with no weights would have been pretty tough. I was glad to see the Pink Team almost win though. I’m more and more interested in seeing them improve as the weeks go on.
The weigh in was incredibly tense. I sat on the edge of my couch waiting for Tracey to choose. I was angry when she chose Amanda and Shay, mostly because she lied to their faces basically, indicating she wasn’t going to choose them. But like I said earlier, to her, I think it’s becoming more about the game than the weight loss.
I did feel bad for Tracey when she lost 11 lbs., a great amount of loss, and no one was happy for her. I don’t necessarily blame them, but in the end, they should be happy that she is losing the weight, despite her injury early on.
It was great to see the dramatic improvement Sean and Antoine (spelling?) had at the end of the show. It looks like in the end, they really were the best to go because they did have their minds set on their weight loss goals.
Can’t wait for next week! What did you think of last night’s episode?
