SPOILER ALERT: If you read until the end, you will know who got sent home last night.
So, first, I have a confession. I missed the entire first hour of last night’s episode. Ironically, I missed it because I was eating out for my birthday at the Macaroni Grill. I picked a chicken marsala dish, as to avoid cream sauce and lots of pasta, so I don’t think I was that naughty.
Anyway, I gathered from the second hour that many had a hard time eating healthy while eating out in the episode. I know that I, myself, have a hard time with this often. I’m loving these challenges though that are so difficult and intriguing. I guess they call it a “challenge” for a reason, eh?
During the weigh in (I am this way during the weigh in every week) I was sitting on the edge of my seat just before they showed the numbers.
I felt a little bad for Danny, who didn’t lose anything-but hey, he didn’t gain anything either. Also, not knowing what he ate all week, that might actually be good considering he could have eaten very unhealthy.
My only other comment about last night’s episode (which I thought was a little less thrilling than previous episodes) is that I was sort of glad that Julio went home. I was glad because it did not seem that he was working as hard as the others and it also didn’t seem that he wanted to lose the weight as badly as the others.
Obviously something must have changed when he went home because it looks like he lost A TON of it when he got home-nearly 200 lbs.
So those are my thoughts on last night’s episode. What are yours?
