Can a gastric bypass cure diabetes?

It's been talked about for a while in the weight loss world, but now doctors are coming so faithful in the powers gastric bypasses can have on Type 2 diabetes that they are considering it as a possible cure for the disease.

ABC announces new docu-reality show 'Obese"

I remember not too long ago writing a post about the trend of fat.

It seems to me, not that being fat is a trend, but that the entire fat industry and learning about people who are losing weight is becoming a trend. We are becoming more and more obsessed with how people lose weight, and I'm kind of glad.

As an avid Biggest Loser viewer, I honestly believe these types of programs are inspiring and have the power to teach people how to healthily and responsibly lose weight.

Well let's see about this new show.

From the producers of the Biggest Loser comes a new show, Obese. Apparently, the premise of the show is that it follows six people-one for each episode, telling the story of how they got to the weight they are and what they are going to do about it.
