Boy, was I shocked to see who went home!
First, let's talk about the makeover.
At first, I was a little unsure about what they did to Rebecca's hair. It was extremely short and I'm not sure how I felt about the cut. But later on I liked it a lot.
Dann's hair looked great, I thought, and his clean shaven face made him look about 10 years younger! I did hate the clothes they put him in. Come on, Tim Gunn. Mixing an argyle sweater with a striped shirt underneath? Too much pattern and too Easter Sunday ish.
Rudy's hair looked too boxy to me, and I miss his beard. The blazer was an ugly color, but other than that I liked his outfit.
Amanda looked cute, but I think the hairstyle they gave her made her look a lot older.
Liz looked great! Her cut, her tan, her dress! I think she looked absolutely fabulous.
Allen (Alan?) Looked pretty much the same, but I did like the suit he was wearing.
I have to say, he won the award for making me tear up the most during last night's episode. Not for any particular reason, just because he was crying.
Their challenge was really scary to me beecause I am terrified of heights, but I was really happy for Liz to have conquered her fears and to cross that canyon.
The weigh in surprised me a little bit with Liz and Rebecca's numbers. It seemed like everyone else had lost a large amount of weight but them. I was also extremely surprised by Amanda's 9 lb. weight loss! I love seeing the contestants get so excited when they lose more than they thought they would.
The tense moment in the elimination room between Rudy and Rebecca really shocked me-Rudy's been playing some dirty games lately! But he had the power to vote Rebecca home, and so he did.
I will say this, Rebecca seems to have done wonders at home. She looked absolutely amazing in my mind, and has shown the most dramatic physical improvement than any of the others who have been sent home in previous weeks!
