Pets Battle the Bulge

In case you missed it the past several times I've blogged about it, for some reason, I find it fascinating that our pets experience what we do when it comes to losing weight.

Well, maybe a little bit differently since we control what and how much they eat.

But a fat pet is an unhealthy pet, just like a person.

Top Ten Fitness Trends of 2009

It's that time of year again. The time for Top Ten of Year x lists that is.

Here's a Top Ten list that may appeal to you guys. It's the Top Ten Fitness Trends of 2009.

1. Boot camp-style workouts

2. Budget-friendly workouts (like running outside instead of joining a gym, etc.)

3. Specialty classes (like pilates or spin)

4. Basic workouts (like execises on the mats, etc.)

5. Circuit training

6. Kettlebells

7. Boomer fitness (fitness amongst people 50 years or older)

8. Technology based fitness (using iPods, cardio cinemas, Wii Fit, etc.)

9. Event or sport-specific fitness

10. Mixing it up (changing up your workout, different things on different days)
