I’m not going to lie. Fell asleep during last night’s Biggest Loser. I know, I know, it apparently was a good one. But who can blame me when they air the two-hour show beginning at 9 p.m.?
Anyways, since the marathon they ran-while technically labeled a “challenge”-isn’t really a challenge, I don’t really want to talk about last night’s episode. That and, like I said, I fell asleep.
But I do want to start getting predictions out there because I always think a friendly wager (friendly, not costly) is a little bit fun.
Tell ya what-I’ll create a prize for those who win. Whoever guesses the winner in the comments below and is right will get a shout-out in my post after next week’s finale. Some prize, eh? Well, it’s better than nothing.
Okay, here are my predictions:
It’s a tough call between Danny and Rudy. Both of them are still pulling in strong numbers-even after dropping nearly 150 lbs. each! Crazy. If I lost 150 lbs., I’d weigh like 30 lbs.
Who has more drive? Also a tough call, and the reason it is a tough call is because we still don’t know so much about Rudy I feel. The whole thing about his sister really didn’t come out until a couple of weeks ago. So, I’m not exactly sure about whether the death of his sister drives him to succeed, or pulls him back because his emotions are out of whack.
Danny’s motivation from day one have been all about his family. But for some reason unknown to me, in this week’s episode, Jillian decided to make everyone feel bad about their families. So now, Danny has the weight of his wife not being entirely happy on his shoulders. That’s a lot to deal with. BUT, last night’s episode was taped in like August, so him and his family have had a lot of time to work it all out.
Last I heard, there’s like $250,000 at stake for the winner. I think either Danny or Rudy deserve that money more than Liz or Amanda, mostly because they have families and other mouths to feed.
I don’t think Amanda or Liz are going to win because they’re just not pulling in the right kind of numbers. Which, in a way, is a little unfair, because they can’t possibly pull off those numbers because 1.) they are women and 2.) they didn’t have the same amount of weight to lose in the first place as those guys.
So, I say Danny or Rudy. What do YOU think?
