For all of us Jewish Hanukkah celebrators out there-Happy Hanukkah!
If I lived at home still, I bet I would have had latkes for dinner and gotten some jelly donuts from Dunkin Donuts (naughty, I know, but it's always been a tradition).
But, I don't still live at home, and while I'm trying to build my own traditions, I figured I'd trade in the greasy latkes for a low-fat, yet traditional, Hanukkah treat.
Below is a recipe for some low-fat homemade donuts. I'm actually attempting to make them right now, so check back with my later on how they turn out!
The process is a bit complicated, but the recipe says it makes 10 donuts at 121 calories each! For a donut, that's not so bad!
So whether you celebrate Hanukkah or not, try some low-fat donuts and make it a holiday to remember!
