Now, this is just a shame. Especially since I just bought a Wii this past weekend.
But unlike some people, I did not buy my Wii because I thought it would help me become more physically fit. I got it to play fun, interactive games that will make me move at least a little bit.
Well, some people are not like me and are convinced the Wii can help them achieve fitness. But a new study suggests that it does not help with family fitness.
Eight families were given Wiis and asked to use them for six months to participate in the study.
According to the study, conducted by the University of Mississippi, fitness of the family studied as a whole was not impacted by use of the Nintendo Wii.
