I'm sure many of you have seen the article this week about the woman who is aiming to become the fattest woman in the world, and I'm hoping some of you have the same opinion as me that this is absolutely ludicrous and offensive.
As many of us try like crazy to LOSE weight, this crazy is trying to GAIN weight JUST TO BE IN A BOOK!?!?
Here is the gist of the story:
Donna Simpson currently weighs 600 lbs. She's trying to gain as much as possible to be in the Guinness Book of World Records.
In 2008, she gave birth to triplets, when she weighed in at 560 lbs., and she says if she can't get in the book for being the world's fattest woman, she'll settle for "fattest mom" (sheesh, settle to be the fattest, who would've thought).
She apparently cannot move more than 20 feet without a bariatric scooter.
Now that I have told you the story, I will tell you my opinion.
This woman is pathetic, disgusting, annoying, repulsive, etc. Words can't describe how I feel about her (and I don't even know her). What kind of IDIOT would try and achieve this!? Does she know about the HEALTH RISKS for becoming this big? Does she know that she probably won't live long enough to lose the weight. What good does her name in a book do when she's dead 6 months later and her three children don't have a mother?
