For the longest time, I've thought that if I don't look at the scale, the numbers won't creep up on me. I've considered the scale my enemy, wanting nothing to do with it.
But maybe the scale is not the enemy. Maybe I am my own worst enemy.

For one, the article suggests, weighing yourself more often makes you more aware of your weight and what you are gaining with the foods you eat. The more you know, the more you lose, essentially is the theory.
Another is that you can be losing weight, despite what the numbers on the scale say.
