I don't like to eat anything at the gym because if I eat at all an hour before I workout because I get cramps.
But some people are just the opposite and need to eat before working out.
For those people are some healthier snacks for the gym.
My personal favorite from this list is a glass of chocolate milk. It's tasty, chocolatey (which makes for the best treat) and has about 17 grams of protein.
Eggs are another great one-especially if you only eat the yolks, with 19 grams of protein.
A scoop of whey protein in your water can also give you a boost with almost 24 grams of protein.
