SPOILER ALERT: If you read to the end, you will know who went home on this week's Biggest Loser.
This was it, the last week before the finale. Four contestants in this week's episode, but only three would remain after the beginning of next week's episode.
The contestants were faced with their most realistic challenge yet in this week's episode: living at home in the real world. This is the hard part for the contestants as they are returning home after spending weeks working out hours and hours all day long on the ranch.
One contestant who had an especially difficult time at home was Daris. During his time at home, we are shown a video of him confessing to eating one night, late at night, more calories in his midnight snack than in a whole day. He must have been exaggerating at least slightly, because there aren't that many calories in Cheerios.
While at home, all the contestants were gearing up for the annual Biggest Loser tradition of running a marathon (26.2 miles). Michael and Ashley decided to informally team up to help each other train for the marathon while Koli decided he couldn't handle staying at home while training for the marathon and instead moved to Las Vegas to be away from distractions (strangely in Vegas) and able to train.
Bob and Jillian stopped by to visit each of the contestants for their last chance workouts at their homes.
On marathon day, Daris was determined to not only finish the marathon, but also to beat the best record time for the marathon in Biggest Loser history, held by Tara-4:55. Sure enough, Daris did beat Tara's time, finishing at 4:02.
But Daris' quick time at the marathon was not enough to keep him above the yellow line at the weigh in. Much to everyone's surprise, Daris actually gained 2 lbs., a very strange outcome when compared with Michael's 23-lb. weight loss, Koli's 13 and Ashley's 18.
This week's episode is unique in that the contestants don't vote someone off-you do. America gets to vote off the last voted off contestant before the winner is weighed in at next week's finale.
