How Jillian Lost it

Once upon a time, America's favorite personal trainer needed some training herself.

Jillian Michaels says she gained a great deal of weight after her parents divorce when she was 12.

Now 36, Michaels says her weight loss journey began with karate. I haven't taken karate since I was 9 years old and wouldn't know how good of a workout it is, but Jillian apparently swears by it.

Her maintenance plan, she says, now consists of five 30-minute workouts per week, serious calorie control and not eating processed foods.

Check out this article about Jillian's weight loss struggle and how she overcame it:

BONUS: For all you BL lovers out there, I found a somewhat disappointing article in my news searches today.

Apparently, another former contestant on the NBC hit show, The Biggest Loser has come forward saying the show is full of bull. Kai Hibbard says the show is unrealistic and that often times she would dehydrate herself and not eat to reach the astounding weight loss numbers you see on the show!

Sometimes, she says, she would only "eat" coffee only as a meal!

What do YOU think? Is the BL only a farce?
