Looking for : Activity, Support, Fitness Buddies
About me : I've lost 53 lbs so far, and I'm using a recumbent bike everyday for 45 minutes, then using balls, bells, mats, dumbbells, exercise books, posters and fitdecks. I went from 231 to 178 lbs, and now I'm trying to tone and lose inches.
Who I hope to meet : Any women who have more than a couple of pounds to lose and could use a buddy while they lose.
Diet : Stouffers FitKitchen frozen dinners, sandwiches and soups. I'm really picky, and I normally have no portion control at all, never have had. That's why I like pre-packaged items. But I'm trying to get back to cooking fresh grilled chicken, grilled veggies, and brown rice.
Exercise : See about me.
I've had to put working out on hold for the past two weeks to care for a family member and now to pack up their house for it to be sold. It'll be over soon, and I'll be back to my treadmill. But the time I got to spend helping this person was its own reward. Thank you for the prayers early this month.

If you are asking for prayers you must be under a lot of stress which can detour weight loss. Good job looking after yourself while under pressure. I will pray for you and hope what ever it is will resolve itself soon. Take care.
I'm getting 10,000+ steps daily! I'm eating so much healthier than ever before, finally paying attention to the healthy food pins in pinterest. I started watching my calorie intake again. I'm beginning jogging and doing muscular strength training for running. Life is amazing!

I've been jogging (or slow running if you must) for a week now, and I have a small jog today and then a longer one tomorrow followed by a rest day. I'm treating jogging like I'm already running in that I do a longer jog on Saturdays and rest on Sunday. The rest of the week is the jogs that will later become faster and longer as runs instead of jogs. For now, I HEART JOGGING.

I hit 211.6 on the scale today. My eating is still difficult to control. I've been having trouble sticking to my workout day to day.
I am also working on consistently working out and have been not been. I personally do not have to go to my second job at night this week so I am focusing on doing my workouts every day. Today I went to zumba class for one hour. Tomorrow the plan is 45 minutes of hip hop abs and 10,000 steps. Want to email each other to check in daily on exercise?
PS The scale will smile again. I am at about 197, but trying to shrink my stomach and lose water weight and do an official weigh-in in a week for the new challenge I joined.
Just try to take it one day at a time. Set yourself goals for the day and schedule your exercise into you day and you will be seeing the result you want in no time.
Consistency.... you'll get there!!
