I am doing a 5 pound jump start challenge on the message boards under challenges...its starts Monday with a start weight--and you weigh in every monday until you hit 5 pound loss. No fuss no muss. Just a place to log weekly until we hit 5 pounds.

HEY I AM NEW HERE.. I AM CONSIDERED TO BE OBSESSED BY ABOUT 75 POUNDS OVER WEIGHT... U SEEM TO NOT BE ABLE TO GET UNDER THE 215 MARK NO MATTER WHAT I DO.. ITS GETTING TO THE POINT THAT MY TOPS ARE NOT FITTING RIGHT OR A FEEL A LOT BIGGER THAN I REALLY AM.

Pretty good first day yesterday. Binge eating in the evening is my greatest challenge. I do pretty well up until about 8:00 PM when I get a very intense craving to have a binge. My psych. at the VA said "I am on the fence" with regard to a true binge eating disorder. Whatever it is, the cure is the same. I need to prepare for these challenges daily, and push through. Good morning JG. I was thinking about you yesterday and did a bit of online research. I was a martial arts instructor for many years and worked with several students with mobility challenges. I checked on Youtube and found several vids on boxing and martial arts training for those in wheel chairs. This area of training can be customized for your range of motion, and graduate from light, moderate, and intense cardio workouts. You might want to give it a glance. Good luck! Dave

Heyy I'm a newbie and it's wonderful to join in your group. I weigh 76.3 kg and my goal weight is 58 kg. My immediate target is to lose 2kg by another two weeks time . I'm hoping to keep posted of my diet and activity level . Please encourage me :D :D

I joined today to be held accountable. I am hoping this will make me stick to my plan of eating well and exercising. I am a stay at home mom who is in recovery for alcohol addiction and have continuously gained weight for months. I needed to lose weight before I stopped drinking and now it is just out of control! I'm hoping I can help and be helped!

Hi, I recently joined. I had to, because I´m so scared. I got a knee surgery two years ago and I gained 40 pounds since I couldn't move a lot, and now i´m getting the pain back again. I've always been on diet, and I thought I could just let myself go but I really need to lose weight to recover my health. Admitting it is the first step. See you soon.

My goal for 2017 is to lose 2 pounds a week, but I will settle for 1. I just joined WeighLossBuddy and am looking for support and activity partners. I started working out at my local YMCA a few weeks ago working slowly back into exercise, and am just now accepting the reality that I need to nail my diet down.
