Hi I'm Rebecca. I'm 33 with three kids and a single stay at home mom. I weigh 160 and am 5'6. My goal is 120. My normal weight before the last three years was 120-130. Now I'm too embarrassed to be in public. Getting active has been a challenge with kids, no friends, and trouble leaving my house. I need help. Any advice, welcomed. Thank you

hi nice to meet you. Glad to see you here. Hope to get to know you more. What has helped me is to focus on eating good food in small portions and being active. What kinds of exercise do you like? Even walking can help you burn caloires. Hang in there.

ok cardio workout hip hop abs-- I did the 45 minute workout and the cardio challenge afterward that is 6 min. long. I had high protein snack before and after. Life is good.

I'm off from work today and intend to do one of my exercise videos. Rec'd a Zumba CD but realized it was only the music but have others to choose from that are only collecting dust. Computer can become addicting so need to get off & start getting my chores done so I have time to do it. Let you know how I make out.

My plan is also do to a dvd in a few hours. I know some don't workout as much in the evening, but tonight my reward is that I will have a bubble bath after I do my workout. Let's report back to what workouts we do. :)

Cardio Drumming Class = DONE So I met my goal of 3 workouts this week 1 hour each. Yay!

Well, I am resigned to go to the cardio drumming class at 6 pm today whether I want to or not. I knew it would be hard not to skip this week because tomorrow is MLK Day and both me and my bf are off work, but I am going! I am excited that possibly I may be able to go to a zumba class tomorrow night since I am off work.

Well, I did one hour of Zumba off youtube yesterday. I got to try out my new exercise room and it is upstairs. The good things are that there are hardwood floors in there and they worked well with foot movements. Also, I had music LOUD and my boyfriend said he couldn't even hear it downstairs so that is nice as far as beging able to do something quiet even if someone is exercising loudly. LOL

It's me again. Last week I did some research on Zumba & watching a video class tape but that's as far as I got. I am also trying to find a good one online to purchase so it can become part of my exercise routine as like Carrie I like the dancing part but will have to get started soon. I think if I do the workouts I just might be able to get out of the 190s soon.

Great start! You can do it! I have seen zumba workout dvds at places like walmart and meijer. Do you have any live classes near you? If you look online, they have them almost anywhere.. Unfortunately the ones by me are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings when I am at work. Keep going!
