hi everyone! I am new to the group today. Over 80 yrs. old but still want to live healthy. Currently have no major health issues other than weight, and work every day in my antique shop. My major problem is motivating myself to prepare meals for one person, so resort to snacking on convenience foods. My weight has gradually increased as a result. I live alone and after working in my shop, I am not active in the evening. I want to increase my activity and consume more fruits and vegetables and decrease carbs especially those with sugars. I am a retired home economics teacher and know a lot about nutrition. I need group involvement to help me stay on track. I once was a Weight Watcher member, and found belonging to a group to be helpful.
