Slow and Steady....
After being at my highest (225) in 2011 and losing 95lbs by mid-2013 - then gaining another 30 from December 2013 to present - I learned a lot.
- I learned (and this was big for me) that there are no pills that will really do anything to help weight loss and add scultped muscle. I have tried so many diets, insane workout programs, etc. Come to find out that the weight just fell off when I just made it part of my life - not something I had to do - then stop when I got there - but part of who I am. I got into running. It made me feel like I was literally running my problems off!! Or at least the stress. I ate so healthy and RARELY craved anything bad anymore. After just going at it "slow and steady" it just happened. I was shocked at the stuff I didn't care for anymore!!
- I also learned that "life" can come in and TRY to knock you off balance. And I allowed it to. I let it get the best of me since Nov/Dec, getting depressed etc. that I ended up stepping

I like you advice...slow and steady...learning to be patient is so darn hard. I hope that one day i dont feel like I am "dieting" but am at peace with my new "reality". My 'reality" is I eat a lot less...no junk food...and exercise every day. I know it will come but my take a year or two. I am willing to wait but there are days I mentally exhausted.and frustrated.
